During the days of the Southern Song dynasty, many were honored with sovereign mercy. But it happened more than once that worthy men never met a happy fate.

Rich Wang Shihzhong was charged with death penalty, but somehow he got out. He had his younger brother, Wang Xingji. Once the older brother allowed himself an evil joke, the younger broke up and left the house without a penny in his pocket. Wang Shihzhong housed the family of the deceased brother. He picked up the decayed Hoppylian slope, and then transferred the estate to his nephew. In due course, Wang Xinzhhi's body betrayed the earth with honors, and his son and grandchildren achieved fame and high ranks.
