Beginning rhyme (head rhyme, initial rhyme)

Beginning rhyme (head rhyme, initial rhyme): (1) Rhyme that occurs at the beginning of two or more lines of verse. (2) A synonym for alliteration. Beginning rhyme, in the first sense, is rare in English verse.
