Prosody
Prosody: The study of versification, particularly as it encompasses meter, rhyme, rhythm, stanzaic form, and — to a lesser degree — sound patterns such as alliteration. Some say that prosody especially involves the study of accent, given the roles accent plays in meter, rhythm, and other poetic sound effects.
In linguistics, prosody refers to the duration (length), loudness, pitch, and stress of speech sounds.
