Lexicon

Lexicon: A list or book of words and their corresponding denotative meanings; a dictionary. The term may also be used to refer to the vocabulary of a particular class, profession, subject, and so on (for example, the lexicon of the upper class, sailing, or literature — as in this glossary).

EXAMPLES: The Oxford English Dictionary, first published in 1928 and now available online; Black’s Law Dictionary, first published in 1891 and now in its tenth edition (2014).
